Marshall Flippo
Marshall's 50th year of calling was in the year 2000. It was also
his 40th year at Kirkwood Lodge Square Dance Resort on Lake of the Ozarks
in Missouri.
Until
the year 1998-1999 he spent 6 months at Kirkwood Lodge and 6 months on the
road touring. Now, Marshall and his wife, Sharon are spending 6 months
(October-March) in Tucson, Arizona where he is calling at Rincon Country
West RV Resort.
Marshall has called in Spain, Sweden, England, Japan and Canada.
Marshall is a member of
CALLERLAB
and American Callers Association. Among his awards he has received the
Milestone Award in 1978 from CALLERLAB and two gold records from Blue
Star. Marshall is currently recording for Rhythm Records.
Marshall is still calling many festivals and weekends, and many dancers
dance tirelessly to his fun calling and enjoy his sense of humor.
